Online Services for Parents
The school uses a number of online services so that we can offer parents the best possible service. Each platform has a specific purpose and has been carefully considered to meet the needs of parents and students.
We know it can confusing keeping track of different systems and services so we have pulled together this page to provide an overview of each service, it’s purpose and how you can gain access.
‘My Ed’ School Mobile App
For an up to date insight in to your child’s school life, download and access the ‘My Ed‘ Mobile app. The app gives you direct access to your child’s attendance, timetable, absence records and much more.
To access MyEd simply download the ‘My Ed‘ app and create yourself an account using your current mobile number and email address (please make sure we have your up to date contact details). A sync will then take place overnight to authenticate your account and providing the details you provide match our school records your children will appear the next day under the ‘My Students‘ section.
The My Ed mobile app is available for anybody to download however, only parents will gain access to the personalised ‘My student’ area.

With both technical advancements and the introduction of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we’re working hard to ensure that we are giving our parents complete transparency and control over their own and their child’s personal data.
SIMS Parent enables parents to view and amend all the core personal data we hold directly from your mobile or computer devices. Data collection is managed digitally, avoiding the need for parents to complete, review and return lots of paper forms.
SIMS Parent is available on a mobile app as well on laptop and desktop computers.
How to access SIMS Parent
Once you have received your invitation email parents can sign up to the SIMS Parent service by creating an account. There are two options detailed below for accessing SIMS Parent.
Frog – The Homework Portal
The ‘Homework Portal’ is a one stop shop for parents to gain an insight into their child’s learning.
Parents can view their child’s homework assignments, including deadlines and any useful resources the teacher has provided.
New parents will be contacted with their login details via email shortly after their child has joined the school.
Frog is available on a mobile app as well as well on laptop and desktop computers. . For more information, please see the link below.
Parent Pay allows parents to easily and securely manage payments to the school for lots of different services. Pay for school trips, dinner money without sending your child into school with cash.

Parents’ Evening Booking System
The Parents Evening Booking system allows you to book appointments with your child’s teachers online. This helps to ensure that you can visit the teachers you need to see at a time that works for you.

As well as our digital platforms for parents here you can find a summary of a few of the main online learning services we have available for students. We actively encourage parents to be involved in their children’s learning and knowing what resources are available to them can be very useful.
