**Please note that this is subject dependent and Wednesday 24th June 2020 is the ‘contingency day’ designated by awarding bodies for examinations. Pupils must therefore be available for exams up until this date.

Exams are governed by strict rules and regulations. These are set by the exam boards and the school has to strictly enforce them. This page contains links to important exam board documents.

Exams Support for Students

Progress 8

Provisional Progress 8 scores will be reported in performance tables for the first time this term.  It will measure student progress across eight qualifications from age 11 to 16. This is a video which explains how this is calculated, along with a video explaining the new GCSE grading system.
