School Council

The School Council is a group of students who are elected to represent the views of Holmfirth High School pupils and to improve their school. Each Year group is represented by three of its members, who meet on a weekly basis to discuss matters relating to both the school and the wider community.

They are Holmfirth High School’s student voice and have contributed to discussions regarding the new uniform and mobile phone policy. The group are currently working to reduce the amount of plastic in the dining room, and have suggested the installation of recycling bins.
