Key Stage 4

This GCSE course is both active and enjoyable. You need to be good at communicating, explaining your ideas and not afraid of learning new things and working with numbers to solve business problems. You will learn how to be a creative thinker and how to make decisions. What’s more, you will also learn about the world of business through research, investigation and practical tasks.During the course you will take two written examinations each worth 50% of your final grade. You will be given a mixture of multiple-choice, data response, short answer, extended-writing and scenario-based questions. For example, you might be given details of a business and asked questions based on that business. The department is based in an ICT suite and all pupils have access to a computer to enhance their learning.
